Hi, my name is Nick.

I’m glad you’re here and looking forward to sharing my swing trading ideas with you.

I started trading in 2008 while in college — a class of mine held a stock market challenge, which sparked my interest and set me down this path. During my research, I found Brian Shannon who has influenced my view on the markets till this day — if you don’t follow Brian, I recommend checking out his work as he’s a great resource.

I continued to trade my own account through 2009, then decided to move to NYC to pursue trading full-time. After trading on a prop desk at SMB Capital / T3 Trading Group till the end of 2011, I needed a break and started a career in tech, where I still work today.

In 2017, I got back in, focused primarily on swing trading with a goal of trading my way to financial freedom. I like sharing my ideas, process, and strategy and hope to help a few people along the way.

The process.

I am a trend / momentum trader with a focus on swing setups. We never know what the market will give us, but with preparation, we can find our edge.

Each week, I comb through my master list of stocks (~500+ tickers) looking for potential swing trade setups for the week ahead. From there, I narrow the list to ~20-50+ names to focus on for the week. I’m looking for trend alignment across multiple timeframes that present opportunities to hold a stock from a few days to a couple months.

In general, I focus on mid-to-large cap stocks that trade over 500K volume.

Its a manual process, but one that I enjoy.

What to expect.

Every weekend, I will share with you my watchlist for the week, with 3-5+ potential swing trading setups for the week ahead.

This service should serve as an additional datapoint to your existing trading strategy — a set of ideas to expand your arsenal and hopefully uncover some hidden gems.
